Science Week

Science Week by Third Class

Third and fourth class went to the theatre for Science week. At the start of the show he turned on some cool music and did some tricks. First he got a giant straw and a 7up can. He turned off the music and put a book on fire! The smoke alarm went off because of the book. After that he showed us a video which had a man who had his head in a table. He did it with mirrors!
Next he made a spoon and paperclip bend by putting them into boiling water.
After that he got two garden chairs and put a plank of wood on top of them. He got our teacher to lie on the wood and he took out the bottom chair. It was a bit like the teacher was floating!
He got a red piece of plastic and it turned out to be a chair. Ms. Hogan sat on it and she thought she was going to fall. He made a table out of iron bars and it folded up as small as a copybook.That was the end of our day at Birr Theatre for Science week.
It was really good fun and we learned lots of cool science experiments.
