Measuring Capacity by Second Class
What we did:
We were measuring how much water could fit in different containers. Before we measured we estimated our answers.
What we used:
We used different containers and they were; a yogurt carton, a jug, a saucepan, a bowl, a lunchbox and a basin filled with water.
What we found out:
We found out how many yogurt cartons it took to fill each container. We also found out that some containers held the same amount of water even though they were different shapes and sizes.
Why containers can hold the same amount:
Containers can hold the same amount because some are wide and short but others are tall and skinny.
We all enjoyed measuring capacity.
