Sixth class tested for Refraction and this is how they got on.

Experiment testing for Refraction

You will need:

• ·    A bowl
• ·         A coin
• ·         Water

Method:

1.      Place the coin in the bottom of the bowl.

2.      Step backwards. Stop when the coin stops being visible over the lip of the bowl.

3.      Ask someone to pour water into the bowl.

Result:

·         I couldn’t see the coin, but when water was poured in I could see the image at the top of the water.
